Wooden chopsticks have been used for a long time to cause cancer? What should we pay attention to when using wooden chopsticks?

Wood chopsticks with long easy carcinogenic? What should we pay attention to when using wooden chopsticks?

In August 2017, Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of quality and technical supervision released the results of the first batch of provincial supervision and spot check of product quality in 2017.

Among the 100 batches of bamboo and wood chopsticks, 28 batches are unqualified! The problems of unqualified bamboo and wood chopsticks are: the sulfur dioxide leaching amount, mold and other indicators of the products do not meet the health and safety standards.

The common bamboo and wood chopsticks in our life have been used for a long time or not treated cleanly enough, so it is easy to grow some mold. If the mold is "aflatoxin", there is a very high risk of carcinogenesis for users! What is aflatoxin? Aflatoxin is a kind of metabolite produced by Aspergillus flavus and parasitic Aspergillus. It is highly toxic. It is one of the strongest chemical carcinogens found at present, and also a kind of carcinogen recognized by the international community.
If the content of aflatoxin in the body is more than 1 mg/kg, cancer such as liver cancer can be induced.

What should we pay attention to when using wooden chopsticks? 1. The bamboo and wood chopsticks will wear on the surface after being used for more than half a year, which is very easy to breed bacteria.

Moreover, this kind of indistinct wear is invisible to the naked eye.
So, in order to prevent invisible abrasion and bacteria breeding, it's better to replace a batch of new chopsticks in half a year.

2. After the bamboo chopsticks are washed, they are usually put in the cupboard. However, if the bamboo chopsticks are not dried completely, they are put into a nearly sealed space, which is very moldy.

After washing the chopsticks, it's better to put them in a dry place and dry them thoroughly, and then put them into a disinfection cabinet for disinfection, so as to ensure that mold is not easy to grow.

3. After using the bamboo chopsticks for a period of time, pay attention to observe whether the surface is discolored or spotted.
Moldy food usually has spots and discoloration, and bamboo chopsticks are no exception.
Once discoloration and spots are found, the chopsticks have grown a lot of molds, so they should be stopped immediately.

4. Try to use less disposable chopsticks when eating out
In order to make the disposable chopsticks white, they may have been chemically treated, and the appearance of the chopsticks fumigated with sulfur dioxide will become very white and look very clean.

Sulfur dioxide combined with other substances will become sulfite, which has been identified in the medical community as a possible cause of asthma and a threat to human health

Therefore, do not use disposable chopsticks with a clean and white appearance or pungent taste.
