Fuzhou lacquer chopsticks production technology

CNN Fujian News Dec. 26 (Chen Guoming) The first chopsticks Cultural Museum in China is being built in Fuzhou.
Zhang Guotian, a successor of Fujian Provincial intangible cultural heritage project "Lacquer Chopsticks Making Technology", said on June 26 that not only a pair of chopsticks should be made into a culture, but also the glory of Chinese chopsticks culture should be displayed to the whole world.

Zhang Guotian, chairman of Tiantian Chopsticks Factory in Cangshan, Fuzhou, was born in Qi'an Village, Gaishan Town, Cangshan District, Fuzhou. After graduation from high school, he entered the chopsticks factory and worked from worker to factory director.

In the 1980s, in order to make the chopstick factory sustainable, he contracted the factory to innovate and improve the traditional low-end lacquer chopsticks, and to develop and produce environmentally friendly chopsticks.
After testing, the chopsticks produced by the factory all meet the requirements of environmental protection and are favored by the Japanese and Taiwan markets.
In 1994, he registered and established Cangshan Tiantian Chopsticks Factory in Fuzhou.
The chopsticks manufactured by the company have been steadily entering the international market, and the factory has also become an importer of fixed chopsticks from Dachuang Co., Ltd. of Japan.

In recent years, his Tiantian Chopstick Factory has accelerated its research and development, innovated in patterns, colors, styles, shapes and designs, and successively produced hundreds of brand bamboo chopsticks, such as Chinese chopsticks, traditional chopsticks, cultural chopsticks, gift chopsticks, sanitary and convenient chopsticks. In 2008, chopstick culture was listed as the provincial intangible cultural heritage of Fujian Province, and Zhang Guotian became the first provincial representative inheritor of lacquer chopstick making technology in Fujian Province.
He devoted himself to promoting chopstick culture, injecting many modern elements into Fuzhou lacquer chopsticks and integrating fresh ideas.
Nowadays, the products of Tiantian Chopstick Factory have gradually developed from single painted chopsticks to "cultural chopsticks" with Chinese cultural symbols.
Zhang Guotian said that China's lacquer chopstick culture should be displayed to the whole world.
To this end, he built a cultural exhibition room of chopsticks covering hundreds of square meters, displaying more than 2000 kinds of chopsticks produced and collected by the factory since Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as supporting items.
In the showroom, there are all kinds of handicraft chopsticks, traditional chopsticks and classical chopsticks. Chopsticks with different colors are exquisite and unique. They also ingeniously depict the patterns of Peking Opera Facebook, Peony, Orchid, Cuizhu, and some historical allusions.
These chopsticks have become not only chopsticks for dining, but also works of art.
At present, Zhang Guotian is advocating the upgrade of chopstick culture and elaborately preparing for the construction of a unique lacquer chopstick Culture Museum in China.
Promoting Chinese chopstick culture has become his ultimate goal.
